Glass Riedel's innovative tasting glass measures precisely the amount of wine to be used in a serious tasting. To use it, fill the hollow stem of the glass with wine. It holds exactly 5/8 ounces. Then lay the glass on its side and roll it across a flat surface. The wine coats the inside of the glass without spilling a drop. Riedel's experience in tasting proves that the fragrance of the wine is a very good basis for judging the wine. Next comes the tasting.
